Sneak Peek at Fall Show Classes

Later this week the class schedule and descriptions will be available on our website but until then take a look here at a few of the classes that will be available at Scrapbook USA Expo coming September 9-10, 2011!

Also, Lance Anderson of ShinyNickels.com (formerly of Rusty Pickle) will be on Good Things Utah at 10:00 am this morning demonstrating some DIY flowers which will be part of one of the classes we will be teaching at our fall show.

If there is a digi company you love or would like to see offering their products at Scrapbook USA Expo, please let US know and let THEM know!

Remember, there will be electrical and internet options available in the Digi Area for a small fee along with work areas (on a first come basis) around all of the Digi vendors. Bring your lap tops and get started on a digi project right by our vendors and they will be close by to offer support and ideas as you practice and learn what is available online! Plus, we have a number of classes being taught for beginners as well as more experienced digi scrapbookers.

Stampin' Up! Is Joining the Digi Lounge

The first step to starting the Digi experience is to find the right software for YOU! The Digi Lounge in September will have a number of options for you to compare and explore.  

While browsing the Digi Lounge join Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, Sheryl and Kristy and see why their love of digital crafting is becoming so contagious! Stop by their booth for a quick introduction to an easy-to-use digital design software package, MY DIGITAL STUDIO, featuring stampin' Up!'s exclusive artwork, designs, and colors. If you fall in love with it on the spot, you can purchase a downloadable version, take advantage of their show special and begin your digital adventure at a Digi Lounge work station within minutes!

My Digital Studio comes with a variety of multimedia options for creating interactive digital scrapbooks and cards that can be saved to DVDs, emailed or uploaded to the internet. One Big Announcement!

I am so excited to share some really big news!! 

A new area of shopping is being added to our September show!! YES! More shopping opportunities! Our new shopping area will be known as...(drum roll please)...

THE DIGI LOUNGE

I've gotta say, I am so thrilled and excited for this new shopping area. Our newest addition has been in the works since before the March show and it is coming together REALLY nice. I am excited to introduce you to the talented and creative vendors that will be making up our first every Digi Lounge. The first introductions start tomorrow.

I have been fascinated with the digital options that have been cropping up over the past few years and even though I am not yet a digi scrapper, I am really looking forward to September's show and being able to get a hands on peek at all the things I could (and will) do with my computer.

Here are some more details on what to expect:

*The Digi Lounge will be a section of the show all it's own

*There will only be Digi vendors in the Digi Lounge

*Work Stations will be available within the Digi Lounge area available for you to sit down near the vendors and do some work with their expertise only a few footsteps away

* Internet and electrical will be available for your laptop for a small fee within the Digi Lounge

*Fun promotions will be going on within the lounge, so don't miss this part of the show

Scrapbook USA Expo has something for every crafter from beginner to advanced. If you have friends or family that don't attend the show because they are not a traditional scrapper. Invite them to come and see what our Digital vendors have to offer.

Who Are Your FAVORITE Teachers at Scrapbook USA Expo?

We have had so many great teachers share their talent and work at Scrapbook USA Expo over the past 10 years, but who are YOUR favorites and WHY? 

We work hard in between shows to bring talent, innovation and creativity to all the classes being offered at the show. This show will bring nothing less. Whether you are a seasoned scrapper looking to learn some new techniques or a newbie who is still looking to learn the ropes, there is something for you. If digital scrapbooking is something of interest to you, look for some great digi classes being offered this show.

Lance Anderson has been a favorite teacher among attendees and he has a full schedule of classes lined up in September. If you are looking for a Friday night class that is sure to bring fun, laughs, creative thinking as well as a fun finished product your friends will be impressed with  - join Lance for his "Panama Jack" class. I am thinking the techniques learned here would really help me with the Hawaiian Luau birthday party that I am planning for my daughter!! This is just one of the great classes Lance has scheduled. Happy 4th of July LONG Weekend!

I can't believe it is already time to collectively celebrate the independence of our great nation.  I regularly give thanks for the blessing of being an American and I am excited to celebrate with barbecues, fireworks and homemade ice cream all weekend.  Let us know how you celebrate YOUR independence?  And don't forget to document it for your posterity while you're at it.
